Aloft on Cortez Hill is yet another addition to the San Diego skyline. Aloft is a low-rise development offering 5 different floorplans ranging from the signature platfrom loft, a one bedroom plus a loft to 1 and two bedroom units and a two story loft unit.
.

Aloft, an Oliver McMillan Development will offer chic new living in one of Downtown’s most famed villages – Cortez Hill. Many units will offer views of the Downtown San Diego skyline below and Balboa Park to the North east. Community features are to include a sunning patio and pool, a bamboo garden and sun-filled foyers. You should find a large courtyard area with a BBQ grill (hopefully a very large one… or more than one), top of the line fitness center, gated underground parking, and controlled building access - aka an older gentleman that smiles at you as you enter the elevator, but probably won’t help you with your groceries. Some really unique features offered are stainless steel, laminate wood flooring, granite counters, heat and air conditioning. Some things that might make you want to move to Aloft are the open, spacious floorplans, floor to ceiling windows, incredible views (aloft is conveniently located aloft Cortez Hill), large private balconies and some practical plays on the typical loft set up.
They, or their hipster PR person, says you can nurture your yin while you indulging your yang here. Whatever… it looks like a nice place to live. I suggest a top floor unit with a west / north west view. Great sunsets, city lights, Balboa Park, and one of my favorite things – you’ll be able to watch the planes on thier approach.
